What is the Linked In Christ Foundation? |
|
The Linked In Christ Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable foundation located in the Commonwealth
of Virginia. Our emphasis is upon Jesus Christ and Him crucified. We exist to spread the Gospel and to feed the Lord's sheep. We recognize that there are diversities of gifts in His kingdom, but they are all of the same Spirit. And through our support of The Christian Heritage Center and Library we provide study materials for Christians of every stripe. We have thousands and thousands of Christian books, videos, tapes, and CDs. In our Theology and Doctrine collection, you'll find nearly anything a serious student of the Word could desire. We have everything from Sixteenth Century manuscripts to Greek and Hebrew language resources to the very latest in systematic theology texts and biblical commentaries. We have an extensive Christian Counseling section, hundreds upon hundreds of books and videos for children, a vast Personal Growth section including numerous books and videos by Joyce Meyer and Beth Moore. And we also have lots of materials for home schoolers, Sunday-school teachers, Bible study leaders, the seeking, the unchurched, and the fallen away. God has blessed us with this tremendous resource: a library containing over 2000 years of God's revelation to his people, communicated to us by thousands of faithful witnesses. And whether you are Protestant, Orthodox, or Catholic, Calvinist or Arminian, Fundamentalist or Pentecostal, or a believer who is somewhere in-between, you will find materials here that will educate, edify, and draw you closer to our Lord and Savior.
We attempt always to provide the most up-to-date study materials to enable all interested Christians to keep current with the ever-changing face of the Church. At the same time, we strive to help preserve our Christian past and to put God back at the center of history where He belongs. We do this in part through our prayerful support of the Museum of Christian History and the Christian History Society of America. And, while preserving the past and looking toward the future, we never neglect the present. For we know that each and every day, every believer must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Jesus. Yes, every day in every way, He must increase and we must decrease.
Finally, the Linked In Christ Foundation desires to connect God's sheep across the globe via the World Wide Web. Our objective is to help bring harmony (we do mean harmony and not unity) to the Church. It is our experience that believers who are educated about the great variety of Christian beliefs tend to have a greater appreciation for those brothers and sisters who may hold a slightly different view. Because, after all, we who are born-again and know that our salvation is only through Jesus and his blood shed at Calvary, are literally Linked In Christ. And with an eye toward this goal of harmony, we maintain several websites which include:
